A violent robbery at a residential apartment complex in Abuja tragically took the life of 29-year-old news anchor Somtochukwu Maduagwu, leaving the media community in shock.
The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Ajao Adewale, confirmed that Maduagwu, who worked for Arise TV, died after falling from the third floor of her Katampe residence during the incident on Monday, September 29.
According to reports, vigilantes in the compound alerted neighbors after finding Maduagwu unconscious following her fall. She was rushed to Maitama General Hospital, where doctors attempted CPR, but unfortunately, she did not survive.
