Tim Tebow and his Miss Universe wife announce the arrival of their baby girl—sharing her first photos and name

Tim Tebow and Wife Welcome Baby Girl, Reveal Name and Share First Photos. For Tim Tebow—the retired NFL standout quarterback turned sports personality—and his wife, Demi‑Leigh Tebow, a former Miss Universe and passionate advocate, the weekend of July 6, 2025 marked the dawn of a beautiful new chapter: the arrival of their very first child, a daughter.

In a moving Instagram post published the day after Daphne’s birth, the couple wrote with gratitude:

“Our daughter is here! We couldn’t be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life.”
They extended heartfelt thanks to their medical team—doctors, nurses, and hospital staff—for providing such compassionate support during labor and delivery.

Introducing Daphne Reign Tebow

The very next day, the Tebows shared even more delight with fans by unveiling their daughter’s name and first precious photos. They are calling her Daphne Reign Tebow, a name rich with personal and spiritual meaning.

  • Daphne: A tribute to Demi‑Leigh’s beloved great-aunt—her mother’s sister—who lovingly filled the role of a grandmother figure in her life. Demi‑Leigh described her great-aunt as “tiny, kind, and strong,” a woman of tremendous grit, grace, and faith—one who always made others feel seen and special. “I used to tell my mom, ‘I want to be just like Ouma Daphne one day,’” she shared.
  • Reign: A name that carries beautiful spiritual symbolism. Inspired by a young girl deeply loved by the couple, the name reflects their belief that in God’s family, we are children of the King—called not to reign by power, but by purpose, love, and identity.

At birth, baby Daphne Reign weighed in at 8.85 pounds and measured 21 inches long, arriving at 2:02 p.m..

First Glimpses of Motherhood

Alongside the announcement, the couple shared several black-and-white images from the hospital—intimate, tender glimpses of this profound moment. One image shows their newborn swaddled in a blanket, another captures her wearing an oversize pink bow, and others include soft kisses from loving parents. These photos radiate warmth, relief, and immense love.

A Love Story Rooted in Faith & Purpose

Tim and Demi‑Leigh’s journey together began when they met in 2018, culminating in marriage in January 2020. They publicly announced they were expecting their first child in January 2025, and joyfully confirmed it was a girl in March. Their gender reveal was creative and heartfelt—using pink paint and verses from the Bible to mark the moment.

Embracing Parenthood with Faith and Joy

This new arrival isn’t just a milestone—it feels like an answered prayer. The Tebows have long woven faith into their narrative, and baby Daphne Reign embodies their deepest hopes. “Our biggest prayer over her is to reign in God’s purpose for her life,” Demi‑Leigh shared in a moving reflection
