My Neighbor Spray-Painted SELFISH JERK on My Lawn, So I Gave Him a Wet Surprise He Will Never Forget

Elton had enjoyed years of peace in his quiet neighborhood, where neighbors were friendly and lawns well-kept. That calm changed when Gideon moved in next door. Initially, Gideon seemed pleasant and they bonded over neighborhood chats, leading Elton to believe they would get along well.

A couple of weeks later, Gideon asked to use Elton’s driveway during repairs to his own. Elton refused, explaining his driveway was always full with family cars. Gideon didn’t take the answer well, but Elton thought the issue was resolved.

The next day, Gideon parked his car in Elton’s driveway, blocking all the vehicles. Despite Elton’s demand to move it, Gideon continued parking there and even brought friends’ cars and lawn equipment, causing ongoing frustration.

One evening, Elton’s wife suggested filing a complaint with the homeowners’ association, but before Elton could act, things escalated. The following morning, Elton found his lawn vandalized with bright orange spray paint calling him a “SELFISH JERK.” Though angry, the police could do little since the paint wasn’t permanent.

Elton then called his brother Thane, a landscaper, who replaced the damaged lawn and installed a special non-toxic, chalk-based dye linked to the sprinkler system. The next morning, when Gideon walked past with his dog, the sprinklers sprayed him with vivid blue water, much to Elton’s amusement.

After this prank, Gideon confronted Elton but was left speechless. From that day forward, Gideon stopped using Elton’s driveway and kept his distance. Elton’s peace returned—for now—but he remains ready should trouble arise again.
