Mary Grace Westman, the mother of the Minneapolis school shooter, has retained attorney Ryan Garry, known for representing George Floyd protesters. Garry told Fox News that Westman is “completely distraught” and has no culpability but needed legal help to handle the fallout.
Police Chief Brian O’Hara revealed that while dozens of interviews have been conducted with relatives and friends, investigators have not been able to speak with Westman. She previously worked at Annunciation Church School, where her child Robin — formerly Robert — graduated in 2017 before later transitioning.
