At dawn, a woman was slowly walking along a lonely countryside road. She relished the unusual stillness until she noticed something odd in the distance.
Out of the bend came a German Shepherd. The animal moved with certainty, ignoring its surroundings, carrying a bulky white bag tightly gripped in its teeth. The package looked weighty – the shepherd advanced slowly but firmly.
The woman paused, stepping aside to avoid frightening the creature. She stared in disbelief as it approached the bend. Suddenly, a vehicle rolled to a stop near the dog. The driver never switched off the motor: he merely swung the door open, snatched the bag neatly from the shepherd’s mouth – and instantly drove off, vanishing behind the corner.
Curiosity overcame fear. The woman resolved to trail the dog. She moved cautiously, ensuring she stayed hidden. After releasing the parcel, the animal turned onto an abandoned lane and halted near a crumbling house. Realization struck her with shock, and she quickly dialed the police.
The door creaked open and a man stepped outside. He nodded toward the shepherd, as though approving its “task,” and brought it in.
The following day she gathered her nerve and ventured nearer. The windows were covered, the yard unnervingly quiet. Peering in, she discovered something chilling: inside a shed, boxes emitted a pungent chemical odor.
On the kitchen counter, under a glaring bulb, the man stuffed powder into packets. The German Shepherd waited loyally at his side, prepared for another errand.
A shiver ran down her spine. The truth was undeniable: the dog carried narcotics for him. He had devised a clever scheme – after all, who would suspect such an innocent animal?
The car simply collected the delivery, leaving the owner apparently untouched.
Her hands trembling, she quickly reached for her phone and alerted the authorities.
Within several days, sh0cking headlines swept through the city. The detained man turned out to be the ringleader of a syndicate. The dog, however, was nothing more than a faithful creature trained to obey.
