Avery’s Fight with Faith: A Journey of Strength and Hope

Avery White, 20, has endured more in a few years than most face in a lifetime. At just 77 pounds, she battles gastroparesis, lupus, Raynaud’s disease, and catastrophic APS. Her journey has been marked by strokes, organ failure, brain inflammation, and endless hospital stays—yet her spirit remains unshaken. Forced to leave college and work, Avery has leaned on her faith to carry her through pain and uncertainty, inspiring everyone around her with her courage and smile.

Recently, doctors discovered severe heart complications—an enlarged heart, fluid in her lungs, and a failing mitral valve. Now, Avery is preparing for open-heart surgery, a critical step to save her life. Through every storm, she continues to stand strong, reminding her family and community that hope and faith can shine even in the darkest times.
