Diane Keaton, who has fought a long battle with an eating disorder, proudly accepts her aging body despite harsh criticism from fans calling her “ugly” and “fat.”

Diane Keaton, now 77 years old, is one of Hollywood’s most respected and enduring actresses, with a remarkable career spanning nearly six decades.

 

Born in Los Angeles, she began her journey in the performing arts on stage in 1968, working as an understudy in the hippie musical Hair.

 

It was during this time that Woody Allen noticed her talent, casting her as the lead female role in his Broadway production Play It Again, Sam (1969).

 

 

Her performance earned her a Tony Award nomination and marked the beginning of a long professional collaboration and a brief romantic relationship with Allen.
