A Moment of Rest Turns Tragic

In Anápolis, Brazil, a 2-month-old baby tragically died after his exhausted father fell asleep holding him, causing the child to fall. Emergency responders confirmed the infant’s death, and the incident is now under investigation by the Civil Police.

Authorities are examining whether negligence was involved, with the father’s testimony and forensic reports crucial to the case. Experts warn that sleeping with babies on the chest or in bed can be dangerous and recommend safe sleeping environments like cribs to prevent such accidents.
