Woman slept with her python every night until the vet showed her a surprising ultrasound

The woman thought her snake was very cute, but an ultrasound reveals otherwise.

Cassandra was shocked when a vet’s ultrasound revealed the truth about her beloved python, Reggie. For weeks, Reggie had stopped eating and would stretch out beside her in bed. She thought it was affection—until Dr. Hanson explained the snake was actually sizing her up, preparing for a meal.

Heartbroken, Cassandra realized the bond she mistook for loyalty was instinct. Though she loved Reggie, she chose safety and arranged for him to be rehomed at a rescue center, saying goodbye to the pet she once thought was her protector.
