Teen Dies After Slamming Into School Bus, Then Police Find What Was in Her Hand

In a heartbreaking incident, a 17-year-old girl tragically lost her life after crashing into the back of a school bus on a rural highway. The collision occurred early in the morning, and while the bus was carrying several students, none were physically harmed.

Upon investigating the scene, authorities discovered that the young driver had not applied the brakes before the crash, as evidenced by the absence of skid marks. Even more poignant was the discovery that she was still holding her cell phone when emergency responders arrived. This led investigators to believe that she may have been distracted by her phone at the time of the accident.

The community has been left in shock and mourning, with many reflecting on the dangers of distracted driving. Local law enforcement has used this tragedy as a stark reminder to the public about the importance of staying focused on the road and avoiding distractions, especially when driving near school buses.

This incident serves as a somber reminder of the potential consequences of distracted driving and the importance of staying alert behind the wheel.
