Beloved comedian, actor, and musician Martin Mull has died at 80 after a long illness, his daughter Maggie Mull announced.

Known for roles in Roseanne, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Arrested Development, and Veep, Mull was also a talented musician and painter.

He released comedy albums in the 1970s, opened for Frank Zappa and Billy Joel, and studied art at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Remembered for his wit and creativity, he is survived by his wife Wendy Haas and daughter Maggie, who said, “He’ll be missed by artists, comedians, and many dogs — but mostly by us.”
